About Weddings By Tamara
Tamara Jones is a Marriage Commissioner appointed by the Government of Alberta and serves in Calgary and its surrounding areas. She is the youngest person who received this prestigious appointment from the Minister of Service Alberta. Tamara offers creative marriage ceremonies that reflect the couple’s bonding and love.
Tamara Jones officiated more than 4500 weddings in the past thirteen years. She has preferred Marriage Commissioner for various restaurants, community centers, and hotels in Calgary, Canmore, Banff, Lake Louise, and other areas. Her works have been published in different magazines like Wedding Bells Magazine, Luxe Magazine, Confetti, Avenue Magazine, and more. She is a former member of the Board of Directors for Wishing Well Wedding and Event Foundation, a charity that grants wedding wishes to those dealing with a terminal illness. Tamara has advocated for marriage equality for the LGBTQ community and domestic violence prevention.
