Experience

Heather is the owner and head hairstylist at Heather Mac Hair Design. She has over 11 years of experience. Her passion came to expression during a part-time job in a salon (Kingston's James Brett Coiffure) in her final school years. She completed her makeup artistry and got a certificate from Saint Lawrence College. She also took hairdressing lessons at Ottawa Academy. Heather has undertaken diverse types of training like colour training (Goldwell Trichology Class) and international haircutting training (The Toni & Guy Academy in New York City).
Over the years, she has registered expertise in magazines like Calgary Bridal Guide, Wedding Bells Magazine, and Rocky Mountain Bride Magazine. These spectacular references to her skillfulness show how she has cut out a class for herself in the business. When Heather moved to Calgary, she joined the L'Oréal Professional education team. Here, she jumped into hair colouring. She later added wedding and bridal styling to her teaching and is presently growing a bridal program for L'Oréal Professional.
