About L’Abattoir
L’Abattoir is a unique restaurant that carries the colourful past of Vancouver in its name. Situated between the historic Blood Alley and Gaoler’s Mews, it is housed in a building that was also the first jail site in Vancouver in the 19th century. This historic wedding venue offers a relaxed and upscale setting for couples who want the best food and luxury on their special day.
L’Abattoir offers 1,200 square feet of area in its private dining space. This space can accommodate up to 50 guests seated or 70 guests for a cocktail-style reception. Smaller function areas can also be rented by dividing the space in half using a noise-reducing barrier. Also, for less than 16 guests, semi-private event rental options are there.
