About QE Park Celebration Pavilion
The Celebration Pavilion at Queen Elizabeth Park is a charming venue located at the highest point in the city of Vancouver, British Columbia that hosts wedding ceremonies, receptions and other special events. The back walls of the Pavilion open up to a beautiful patio & garden area, creating an enchanting ceremony backdrop.
The Celebration Pavilion includes a beautiful wooden patio and surrounding garden area as a backdrop to your special event. This venue comes with a private washroom for guests and separate bridal room. The covered arboured boardwalk leads you and your guests into the venue and is of your exclusive use for the duration of your rental time. The Celebration Pavilion can accommodate a maximum of 100 people for a ceremony, 48 for a seated reception or 65 for a standing cocktail reception. A retractable wall opens up and allows you and your guests to enjoy the picturesque outdoor backdrop from a covered space. This venue features radiated heated-floors for events taking place in cooler months. This wheelchair-accessible venue provides additional comfort and convenience for all attendees. Pay-parking is available throughout Queen Elizabeth Park and is operated by the separate entity EasyPark.
The Celebration Pavilion offers different rental packages depending on whether you are holding your wedding ceremony on a weekday or weekend during their high or low season. If you wish to hold a reception at the Pavilion, they would love to schedule a phone call to discuss in more detail, as the logistics of a reception (this includes any event serving food and/or beverage) are much more complex than a ceremony only booking. The rentals office hours are Monday to Friday, between 9am and 4pm. Included in your rental is the services of a liaison staff member, the use of 80 silver chiavari chairs with standard lecture style setup, a signing table with linen, a sound system with aux input, handheld or lapel microphones, your choice of either a red or black carpeted aisle runner and silk floral decors of either blush/lavender/white or red/green. As well as the use of a bridal room and directional signage. Wedding rehearsals are available upon request and solely dependent on availability.
Included in your rental are 80 silver chiavari chairs with standard lecture style setup; 40 on either side of your choice of a red or black carpeted aisle runner. Stunning silk florals along the aisle chairs and at the stage area in your choice of either blush/lavender/white or red/green.
The Queen Elizabeth Park Celebration Pavilion does not provide any in-house catering services, and you are free to hire any 3rd party caterer of your choice.
In-person viewings with a member of the Rentals Team are limited and by appointment only. They have created an album with some video footage for you to visit the space virtually. If you would like to visit the facility in person yourself, you are more than welcome to; the front doors are windows and you can see the space from the outside. However, if there is an event taking place, we ask that you please respect their privacy and come back another time.
