About Bloedel Conservatory
Bloedel Conservatory is a tropical picturesque venue set within beautiful Queen Elizabeth Park, of the City of Vancouver. Offering a stunning backdrop, ideal for intimate wedding ceremonies & photography, with over 500 tropical plants, exotic birds, & koi fish inside.
The designated area within the Bloedel Conservatory is standing room only, and can accommodate a maximum of 50 people for a wedding ceremony. Food and/or beverage is not permitted inside or outside the facility. The facility is wheelchair-accessible and washrooms are available inside the Conservatory. Pay parking is available throughout Queen Elizabeth Park; operated by the separate entity EasyPark.
Weddings, photo shoots, proposals, and other events can only be held in the morning before the Conservatory opens or in the evening after the Conservatory has closed to the general public exclusively for two hours.
- Evening timeslots can be extended for an additional hourly rental fee, to a maximum of 10pm.
- Admission for up to 50 people (includes vendors staying on site during event)
- A liaison staff member for the course of your event, to provide you access to the facility and manage the facility equipment.
- Upon request - the use of a registry table with one white folding chair, use of the facility sound system with aux. input and access to a power source.
- One piece of directional signage.
In-person viewings with a member of the Rentals Team are limited and by appointment only. If you wish to view the facility on your own, you are more than welcome to purchase Bloedel Conservatory tickets and view the facility during regular operating hours. Please note that the staff on site cannot answer any rental questions.
