About The Great Hall
In Queen Street, Toronto, The Great Hall locates as an iconic wedding and event venue in the core of West End. It has an awe-inspiring Victorian architecture with rich history expanded to 1889, started in 1890 and renovated in 2016 entirely. This stunning building has been the warm home of many high-end weddings for over a hundred and twenty-five years. By choosing to celebrate your wedding day in one of its halls, you will have the wedding of your dreams.
At The Great Hall, there are four different spaces for weddings, celebrations and various events. If you prefer to invite a limited number of guests or you want to have a massive wedding, you will find your request.
● The Main Hall is a breathtaking venue consists of two floors. It takes a space of the second and third floors of the building. It features a reception area and green room—the premier floor equipped with a stunning grand stage and a fantastic bar. And the second floor is designed in a loop shape with a fantastic balcony. The high stylish coffered ceiling is decorated with candle crystal chandeliers. This beautiful venue can host up to 480 guests for cocktail receptions, 200 guests for a banquet with a dance floor, and 330 guests for a wedding ceremony.
● Longboat Hall was once a premium gymnasium of the West End so that you can imagine the rich history of this fantastic venue. It features brick walls and a beautiful concrete floor with a terrific high patterned ceiling with light brown colour. The roof is equipped with incredible candle chandeliers that light the place correctly. Also, it has an elegant wooden balcony and a fantastic bar. It hosts 400 guests in a cocktail-style setting and up to 120 guests for a banquet-style with a dancing floor. You can choose it for a wedding ceremony with the ability of 175 guests.
● The Conversation Room locates on the second floor beside the Main Hall. It features a victorian architectural white style full of significant hand-carved motifs in the manifested below the dome. The Segmented glass windows allow the natural light to enter the place. It’s an ideal place to host up to 97 guests for cocktails and 60 guests for a banquet-style set. Also, you can pick it fo your wedding ceremony with a capacity of 117 guests.
● The Drawing Room locates on the third floor. It’s a beautiful event space with a capacity of 97 guests for cocktail parties, 80 guests for a beautiful wedding ceremony, and 50 guests for banquet-style seating. It distinguishes with an attractive classical style with high ceilings decorated with beautiful candle chandeliers. The walls are painted with white colours, and the arched windows fill the venue with light. It contains a charming fireplace and an antique mirror, gold plated.
