Hotel Le Place d'Armes is in the heart of old Montreal, Quebec. It is situated in four 19th-century neoclassical buildings opposite Notre-Dame Basilica. The hotel is a blend of modernity and history that offers a gym, spa, meeting spaces, and a rooftop terrace. The venue offers covered and uncovered outdoor and an indoor setting for weddings and social events. The hotel was built in 2000 and was recently renovated in 2020.

Facilities and Capacity

The Hotel Le Place d'Armes has a 12,000 square feet usable event space that makes it perfect for hosting the wedding of your dreams.
• There are two ballrooms, Bossa Nova and Opera. Bossa Nova consists of two stately rooms that accommodate 220 guests. It has round tables, patterned carpeting, space for mingling, and comfortable seating.
• The Opera ballroom accommodates 120 guests and luxurious with auxiliary chairs that blend with the event.
• The meeting rooms are versatile and can be set for various events, from board meetings to wedding receptions to conferences.
• Bolero is a multipurpose room that can accommodate 215 guests, located on the second floor with a foyer for coats.
• The fortifications room is on the hotel's second floor, with an exposed brick wall, floor-to-ceiling windows that allow natural light in the room. It has a capacity of 14 seated guests.
• St-Jacques room accommodates 40 guests and perfect for a reception area. The large windows allow natural light freely to the room.
