About La Cancao
La Cançao jazz quartet is a professional jazz band in Ville-Marie Montreal, Montreal, Quebec. This band has three experienced musicians and an expert singer; they provide their services in Quebec, Montreal, the USA and more. With the band’s unique ability to make the ambience fantastic and full of lovely music, you can be sure that you will have an unforgettable wedding day.
La Cançao jazz quartet was established in 2010; it covered over ninety memorable shows and many stunning weddings, events and occasions. The band’s members are Philippe L’Allier, a professional guitarist; Olivier Babaz is a fantastic counter bass player; Yannick Parent is a professional drummer; and Rebecca Rowley is a professional singer. They can play up to five sets fifty minutes each with breaks and are flexible to do shorter performances upon your request. According to your order, they can also add a saxophonist and collaborate with professional musicians if one of the band’s members couldn’t come. The band has a stunning repertoire that contains standard Jazz (Blue Monk, Blue skies, Boulevard of broken dreams, Cry Me A River, Goodnight my love, etc.). Popular music like (Close to you, Earth Angel, What A Wonderful World, etc.), swing (Americano, Bei Mir Bist Du Schoen, Cheek To Cheek, etc.). If you have any particular song, you need to add it to the repertoire; they are flexible and ready to do it.
