About Evandale Resort
A riverboat resort nestled beside the majestic Saint John River, Evandale Resort is owned and operated by the Olsen Family. The design for Evandale House was influenced by the riverboats that travelled along the Saint John River and the Valley Line Railroad. It was built in 1889 to accommodate riverboat passengers. The team of the resort has done their best to keep the original integrity of the hotel while undergoing a number of renovations.
Whether you are planning an indoor or outdoor ceremony or reception, Evandale Resort has the perfect venue to accommodate all wedding-related functions. A charming dining room with a bar area is found at the resort, along with a patio that overlooks the pool. The location offers two entrances for weddings, one beside the Saint John River, and the other boasts expansive green lawns that are perfect for setting up a large tent for a beach wedding. Moreover, the common areas of our upper floors provide incredible views of the nearby cable ferry, boat docks, and adjacent grounds. They also have a seasonal outdoor deck with a view of the pool and grounds that is available to our guests during the summer months.

Daily & weekly specials and special occasion buffets are served in the Licensed Restaurant between 9:00 AM and 9:00 PM. A relaxed, casual atmosphere is provided in their Dining Room, where you can choose from their full menu, weekend specials, or special buffets when available. In case you wish to celebrate a more exclusive event with them, they would be happy to accommodate your requests. You can rely on them to handle all the details and serve you.
In addition to comfortable accommodation for the couple, there are also rooms available for guests. Six updated rooms feature contemporary amenities with Victorian accents throughout the resort.
