Waterloo Region Museum has got you covered for a spacious and beautiful environment for indoor and outdoor wedding ceremonies situated at Huron Road, Kitchener. This venue has a ballroom, banquet hall, farm, and a museum. The central location of this venue makes it easier to meet your wedding needs. It has beautiful natural scenery that is amazing for photos, and facilities are also available for all wedding-related events. Wedding ceremonies, receptions, and bridal showers can be held at this venue.
Waterloo Region Museum has the Museum grounds, The Freeport Church, and the Grand Foyer. Smaller rooms are also available for more intimate weddings.
• The museum grounds are the best fit for a large gathering. The Willows Green Gazebo is one venue for an outdoor wedding lined with willow trees and seating for 120 people. The other outdoor venue is Museum Patio.
• The Freeport Church is available for couples who want to go the traditional way. This historic church can accommodate up to100 people, and it has historic features like the church bell, antique pump organ, and historic oil lamps.
• A large reception can be held at the Grand Foyer, which can host a minimum of 150 guests and a maximum of 500. The Grand Foyer has a soaring wall made from materials from the 19th century Waterloo Region Barn which gives a beautiful and unique atmosphere for your event.
