About The Laurel Packinghouse - Kelowna Museum
This venue is a historic building dating back to 1918. For decades, it has been the backbone of the local orchard industry. The building has been thoroughly restored but still retains its originality, including large wooden beams and reworked wooden flooring, brick made from local Knox Mountain clay and hanging lamps. It is now home to a beautiful, naturally lit room that is flexible, atmospheric and acoustically superb. It has a huge attraction in that it provides a soft, charming room that can be kept as it is or decorated in a number of customized ways. Its central position in the Kelowna Cultural District and the BC Orchard Industry Museum and Wine Museum in the Packinghouse makes it a special atmosphere that always impresses.
