About The Spice Factory

In downtown Hamilton is the 1889 historic building, The Spice Factory. It is a large three-floored exposed brick building that was beautifully renovated in 2016 while keeping its traditional historic appeal. It is a wedding venue that appeals to couples that loves a loft-style and historic venue.

Facilities and Capacity

• Cilantro Room offers an industrial setting wedding reception with a hardwood floor, concrete bar area, exposed brick walls, original tin ceiling, and massive windows where natural light streams in. The enclosed patio attached and incorporated into the venue has twin cement fire pits for cold-weather weddings. The Cilantro caters for 150 cocktail-style receptions or 120 seated.
• Black Pepper Studio is on the second floor of The Spice Factory, where you can choose to have your wedding ceremony with a beautiful arch set up or have a dramatic space for 160 cocktail-style guests or 140 seated. With hardwood floors, exposed brick walls, and a draped stage, the layout and floorplan are open to accommodate your preferences of tables and chairs options.
• Mustard Seed Loft, with its high ceilings, natural light, and large open spaces, is a blank canvas where dream weddings are visualized. Here you have nothing except hardwood floors, high ceilings, and exposed brick to start planning your venue.

• The bridal suite caters to up to 50 people, where the bride and her party have access from 9:00 AM on the morning of the reception. It is a stunning room with warm brick walls that will make sure wedding preparation photos will be amazing.
• Grooms suite has space for 25 men where you can get ready from 9:00 in the morning.
