About Dreamland Silent Disco
Dreamland Silent Disco covers Vancouver Island, Vancouver, the greater BC area and Boston, MA. The company has evolved into a network of experienced DJs who can provide their services at venues that would normally be restricted due to noise pollution. Each guest uses the latest 3-channel LED headsets at a volume they control while still having conversations with the rest of the wedding party. There's a range of foot-tapping, dance floor-filling genres from country, hip hop, electronic, jazz, oldies, pop, soul, rock, top 40 hits and international tunes.
Dreamland Silent Disco was the brainchild of Lara Gordon, who started the company in 2017. After noticing that many venues had the music too loud, which resulted in guests having to shout, she loved the idea of providing silent discos where guests could enjoy the beats and sounds of dance floor favourites without losing out on the social side event.
Dreamland Silent Disco can provide an audible sound system and their three-channel wireless headphones. Each event starts with a thorough consultation with each couple, and they go through your event timings, venue choices and take time to collate any do-not-play lists. Each event is covered by liability insurance to give you and your guests peace of mind. Along with their own Sound/PA system, they include their consultation and travel expenses. Additional equipment can be provided, such as disco balls, uplighting, microphones and projectors.
Their wireless headphones make them popular for birthdays, corporate events, backyard cookouts, beach and college parties, fitness classes, lectures, house parties, bike tours, flash mobs, bike tours, and walking tours. They can also provide hammocks, LED lawn games, bounce houses, midnight snacks and engaging activities.
