About Animum Media Group
Animum Media Group was created by Rob Hansen in 2015 after being asked to film a family friend's wedding. He had just graduated from a college filmmaking program so he jumped at the opportunity to do anything film related, he rented all of the equipment he needed from Henry's in Toronto and hauled it up to Georgina and Sibbald's Point. It was an amazing experience and he decided to try and make something of this new opportunity.
For about two years he worked part-time jobs and acquired some equipment of his own while doing freelance photography and commercial video gigs and making short films with his friends; doing what he could to get his name out there and talk to potential clients. It was rough going for a while but he eventually got a referral from his first clients for another wedding in the distillery district in Toronto, another beautiful locale. He kept at it and things gradually picked up as he expanded and honed his repertoire of skills to eventually incorporate all services under one umbrella called Animum Media Group.
In the past nine years, Rob has filmed and edited over 200 weddings. He has expanded his team to include second and third shooters as well as established relationships with local venues, photographers and other vendors.
Animum is a multimedia production house specializing in digital video and photo production. They offer various services aside from wedding videography but weddings are their bread and butter.
Their services include; event photography and videography, portrait/product/real estate photography, and graphic design.
Animum also produces short films, music/corporate videos, and commercials.
On the wedding side of things; they also offer a live stream, photo booth/interview station, drone footage and GoPro footage.
