At the Oakridge Mall doorstep is the Peretz Centre for Secular Jewish Culture. This wedding venue welcomes couples from any belief, culture, and gender. As a secular and non-discriminatory venue, this is the ideal place for couples from any background to host an affordable wedding. Along with the beautiful function spaces, the Peretz Centre for Secular Jewish Culture also has a dedicated staff who help you plan the perfect wedding with little stress or hassle. It has been a part of the local heritage since 1945.
● The Ben Chud Auditorium has an area of 3,000 sq. ft. and a capacity of 200 guests seated or 300 guests in a cocktail-style manner. This space is ideal for wedding receptions and celebrations. You get a blank canvas that can be customized to your preferences. The auditorium can also be partitioned into smaller function spaces for intimate gatherings.
● The Winrob Lounge offers a smaller event space with an area of 1015 sq. ft. This has a capacity of 50 guests seated or 100 guests in a cocktail-style manner. This function space is ideal for small gatherings.
● The Ben Chud Auditorium also has a green room that can be used as a bridal suite.
● Basic furniture, including banquet chairs, tables, and tablecloths, are provided in both function rooms.
● Stage setup and a portable stage are also available.
