About RCMP Heritage Centre

One of Regina’s most celebrated places is the RCMP Heritage Centre capturing the Mounties’ trials, tribulations, and triumphs. The RCMP Heritage Centre has located 6 km to the west southwest of downtown Regina very close to the RCMP Training Academy, ‘Depot’ Division. These hallowed portals offer event spaces for conducting wedding receptions or meetings, or galas. If you celebrate your wedding at this superb venue, you would be contributing to the welfare of Canada’s most thought of icons – the Mounties.

Facilities and Capacity

The RCMP Heritage Centre has a couple of event spaces – Heritage Room and Regimental Lobby that are highly suitable as wedding venues:
The Heritage Room is an imposing building constructed in Tydnall Stone and glass. This room can be rented as a wedding venue capable of accommodating 250 guests. This space is available only on Friday and Saturday evenings after the close of working hours at 5:00 pm up to 2:00 am.
The Regimental Lobby is another stunning space for its circular shape and an imposing red wall. This area could serve as a stand-alone wedding venue for small gatherings, but its real value would be seen in conjunction with the Heritage Room when used as a bar and cocktail space.

Decorations

The Heritage Room and the Regimental Lobby impose buildings in their own right. The well-structured wooden door complements the exposed Tyndall Stonewall. The floor-to-ceiling windows allows natural light to flood into the room. The Regimental Lobby’s circular shape and red wall add a particular charm to the wedding reception. The curtains, ottomans, skirting, chair covers, linens, napkins, centrepieces, portable stage and place settings are in white and black, adding a unique glamour and appeal to the atmosphere the wedding reception.

In-House Catering

The in-house catering is an exceptional offering in this wedding venue with lots of choices. There is breakfast with Canadian and Continental menus. The lunch menu comprises a wrap and artisan sandwich buffet, finest fiesta, indoor picnic, and Italian feast. The special menu consists of a signature reception menu, a Heritage reception menu, and a prairie feast menu to build your menu.
