About MacKenzie Art Gallery
The MacKenzie Art Gallery boasts a delightful wedding venue located east of Willow Island in Wascana Lake and 6 km south of Regina. The gallery has several event spaces within its sprawling campus to offer you a wedding venue, unlike any other in Regina. The gallery is suitable for a variety of functions, including wedding receptions. The wedding venue in the MacKenzie Art Gallery is a splendid venue for couples interested in the arts. The gallery affords a picturesque and artistic setting for the wedding reception.
The MacKenzie Art Gallery has several event spaces that are ideal as wedding venues or other event venues:
•The Agra Torchinsky Salon is an exclusive wedding venue because its long format design provides a unique locale. The salon is best left illuminated by natural light through large windows, offering a surfeit of greenery and pine views. This wedding venue can seat 200 guests in a banquet setting or 400 guests in a cocktail setting ideal for weddings, receptions, meetings and special events.
•Two meeting rooms can serve as event space such as workshops, meetings and workshops individually or combined to offer space for gatherings of up to 40 guests.
•Set-up and take-down of rental space requirements
•Furnishings including tables and chairs
•Audio-visual equipment and technician support
•Security during gallery working hours
•Outside working hours, security will be on a chargeable basis
•20% discount for events conducted by a non-profit organisation
The gallery does not provide linens, silverware or tableware, and therefore you can choose your decorator and plan the décor you want for your wedding reception. Since the wedding venue is unique, you can create your ambience keeping the large windows in mind.
The MacKenzie Art Gallery has contracted the on-site catering to an outside agency responsible for all catered events. The gallery does not allow outside food to be brought in without its approval. The caterer offers a choice of two, three or four-course plated meals and a la carte dishes. The a la carte menu included dishes such as fresh soup, house salad, scallop ceviche, salmon with dill cream cheese, roasted pork loin, potato gnocchi, and flour-less chocolate torte and dessert bar.

The gallery requires a damage deposit of 50% of the rental rate at contract signing.
