About Regina Hungarian Cultural Social Club
Tracing its history to 1922, the Regina Hungarian Cultural and Social Club promotes Hungarian culture and heritage in Regina. The club is located 2 km to the east of downtown Regina. The club has event spaces that can be used as interesting wedding venues. This club is one of the several in Regina dedicated to promoting a country’s culture. This aspect makes the wedding venue very special, and you can have a wedding with a touch of Hungary’s culture rubbing off on you.
There are three areas inside the premises of the Regina Hungarian Cultural and Social Club that can be used as wedding venues:
•The Balaton Ballroom is the largest, accommodating 320 guests for banquet seating or 500 for theatre seating. This ballroom is large enough as a wedding venue to host the wedding ceremony and the reception and dancing. This venue is also suitable for corporate functions, seasonal celebrations and fundraising events.
•The Balaton Dining Room is another room that can serve as a wedding venue for small gatherings of up to 100 guests. This is ideal as an intimate wedding venue.
•The Club Room is the third room, and it can accommodate 60 guests. This venue is perfect for events that need to be cozy and intimate such as wedding showers, birthday parties and meetings.
•Banquet facilities are available for all three rooms as per your needs
•Bar services are available for all three rooms
•The decoration is organized by the club and consists of any configuration you need. The ceilings display cross wooden beams and concealed lighting. •The walls are a mix of wood panels painted off white. Artistic irregular wooden logs are placed at strategic points along the walls to give a get-up to rooms. White chair covers with maroon or dark grey sashes give a pleasing look to the room. Lighting is as per the mood required.
The in-house catering service is exhaustive with several options. The dinner menus are turkey dinner, baked ham dinner, pork cutlet dinner, roast beef dinner or roast chicken dinner. There is also an option for building your plate. The menu also includes Hungarian dishes.
Couples can look forward to a fusion of Canadian and Hungarian cultures when you celebrate your wedding at any one of the Regina Hungarian Cultural and Social Club wedding venues.
