About Courtyard Restaurant
The Courtyard Restaurant is the ideal place for couples who desire a private yet classy venue for their wedding ceremony, reception and any other activity on your wedding plan. This chic, romantic place with its contemporary vintage style is nestled in the heart of the historic Byward Market and is just a 10-minute drive from the Ottawa City centre. The accommodating and skilled staff offers you a seamless, stress-free event while ensuring that you have a good time.
The Courtyard Restaurant provides an exclusively indoor setting for your events. However, the patio can be made available for events in the summer. Each of the three indoor rooms can be used, depending on your preferences.
• The McArthur Room has a capacity of up to 84 seated guests or 120 standing guests.
• The Loft is ideal for groups between 25 and 45 people and provides a comfortable standing room for up to 60 persons.
• The Dawson Room can contain about 24 seated guests and up to 30 guests for a cocktail reception.
• The Upper Bar Area is also available for smaller gatherings. When you book the McArthur Room or the Loft, you can reserve this place with it for pre-service or post-service receptions.
• The outdoor patio takes about 60 guests.
• You can keep the entire building for your wedding. It has a capacity of up to 200 guests for cocktail receptions.

With its adept and dedicated catering staff, the Courtyard Restaurant is well equipped to take care of all your culinary requests at your event. It has three-course and four-course meal options your guest can select from. Beets, kale salad, charcuterie and cheese are some of the appetizers available. Options on offer include vegan squash, gnocchi, Nagano Pork, Short rib, and Chicken. Dessert selections include crème brulèe, chocolate and maple pie. The products used by the restaurant are locally sourced.
