Located 15 minutes from Barrhaven and Kanata, At the Schoolhouse is nestled in the tranquility of Munster Hamlet. Your wedding could be a part of one of their magnificent all-inclusive events and they specialize in organizing memorable events of all kinds. Whether you are looking for assistance with a single detail or with a complete project, the professional team is here to help. The elegant surroundings and historical nature of At the Schoolhouse make it the perfect location for a wedding your guests will never forget.
It features three ceremony sites where future newlyweds can hold their ceremonies:
• A 125 year old former schoolhouse has been renovated into a contemporary space with 2 story ceilings, 8 foot windows, hardwood floors, and a private dressing room. It can accommodate up to 50 guests for a private ceremony and 65 guests for a cocktail-style reception.
• The Munster United Church, built in 1894, has beautiful stained glass windows and handcrafted woodwork. The church bells are even available for ringing! With its capacity of 125 people, it can accommodate a large group.
• Roses and foliage surround a charming pergola. Couches are arranged under the covered veranda, and there is ample space for outdoor dancing. The house can accommodate 65 family members and friends.
