About The Fieldstone Barn
Brand New Venue Opening Summer 2024
From the moment you arrive on the property, there’s a feeling of tranquility that washes over you – and it’s truly magical. Located walking distance to the village of Elora, famously coined as Ontario’s most beautiful village, the farm’s rustic charm is breathtaking in its natural setting amidst sunflower fields, forest, and lush gardens. This venue is a charming gem tucked away in the natural landscape of the Elora Gorge Conservation area.
This historic structure is being restored to its original beauty – the barn’s hand-carved wood beams, natural wood floors and stone walls offer an old world feel and picturesque charm that is reminiscent and unique to the area. The spacious layout accommodates many guests, without sacrificing the intimate feel of countryside hospitality.

The picturesque countryside, complete with flower gardens, streams, and photo setups provides an ideal backdrop to your wedding and will give your guests an experience they’ll never forget.

The Village of Elora
Ranked one of the best small towns in Canada by Travel & Leisure, Elora will charm you and your guests with its stunning natural beauty and historic architecture. Enjoy breathtaking views of the gorge and vibrant downtown with beautiful 19th century buildings that line the main streets - housing cafes, restaurants, and boutique stores.
The barn venue can accommodate up to 150 guests. There are 2 lovely options for an outdoor ceremony - one with the stone barn behind you and the other under the trees. The large open space in the barn allows for multiple table configurations. There are lots of outdoor spaces and areas to relax, have cocktail hour, take pictures and enjoy the property.
The venue offers catering and bar services through their partners. There is lots of parking available on the farm. They have another flower farmer who they work together to offer floral services as well as a local florist in Elora - or you can order from a 3rd party directly. They do have connections and suggestions for cakes, music and photography but they are more than happy to allow for 3rd party vendors for those services.
The beauty of wood beams, wood floors and 32' stone walls in this historic barn creates a sense of timeless elegance. There are not many of these stone barns around anymore and even fewer that are available as a venue.
The space is beautiful - you can go with a minimal approach with your decorations or dress it up to suite your own personal style. It's an open space to make into your dream vision.
They provide their guests with 3 to 4 catering partners that offer a very extensive selection of quality foods, and for various budgets.
The farm has 4 luxurious glamping sites on the property that can accommodate a total of 8 people. Each site sleeps 2 people and offers a covered deck, hammock, table and personal hot tub. The tents have foam mattresses with choice of pillows, espresso, coffee and tea, fan, and electricity. This is the perfect mix of luxury comforts with outdoor tranquility. Across from the farm is the Elora George Conservation for those who enjoy the trails, kayaking and spending time in nature.
The Fieldstone Barn offers you exclusivity to enjoy the property on your special day. Their large historic stone barn is one of kind and unique to the area - built by Scottish stone masons over 150 years ago. It is sure to make your day, your photos and your experience, something to be remembered. As a flower farm, they have flowers throughout the season growing and in August/September their sunflowers are in bloom. They have created many photo spot options on the farm that people and photographers have loved over the years. The farm also provides some games for your guests to have some fun - corn hole, ring toss, bean bag toss and corn mazes.
With the farm being walking distance to town, guests can walk to places in Elora if they are staying from out of town. Elora is a magical area to be married in and their farm has been featured in National Geographic, CBC, CHCH and Narcity – from 'Bougie Glamping' to being 'The Most Instagramable Place to Visit'.
