About Alton Mill Arts Centre
The national award-winning Alton Mill Arts Centre is located in the hills of Caledon, and it is perfect for weddings, staff retreats, and special events. This venue combines heritage, art, and modern amenities and offers the perfect setting for a truly unique ceremony.
The restored heritage venue has multiple spacious indoor and outdoor spaces, including a waterfall, pond, and stone-walled courtyard venues. The team strives to create special ceremonies that will leave a long-lasting memory for you and your guests.
● The Millrace Room is designed with wooden beams and beautiful stone walls. It is the prime event space of this venue that can accommodate up to 80 guests for a seated arrangement at round tables, 96 guests at rectangular tables, and 120 guests at a cocktail reception. It is excellent for weddings and receptions.
● The Waterfall Courtyard is located just outside the Millrace Room. The perfectly restored stone walls and the tranquil sound of the waterfall makes this place ideal for wedding ceremonies, cocktail receptions, and outdoor meals. This space can accommodate up to 64 guests seated at tables, 100 guests seated at theatre style, and 125 guests for cocktail parties.
● The venue has a Riverside Room with a beautiful ambience and is perfect for private functions. This space can accommodate up to 30 guests at a time.
● There are two gallery rooms, the Noodle and Headwaters Art Galleries, which can be opened to your guests for a pre-dinner reception.
● If you prefer an outdoor wedding celebration, then Annex Courtyard is perfect for you. The majestically restored stone walls surround the space, and it can accommodate up to 160 seated and 300 standing guests.
