About Rick Collins Photography
Rick Collins Photography is a wedding photography service located in Victoria. Rick Collins is the owner and main wedding photographer, and his wife Cheryl Claibourne is his business partner. Rick is an award-winning wedding photographer with more than three decades of experience in various forms of photography, including wedding photography. He has been featured in various national and international publications.
Rick has a degree in photojournalism from the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT) in 1991. He has had vast and varied experience in all types of photography, and it is little wonder that he has won numerous accolades. Rick is both a classical and modern wedding photographer as he shoots digitally as well as on film, including Polaroids. He is an editorial as well as a commercial photographer. His wedding photography style is documentary based. He is a multi-achiever, having participated as lead photographer and core member of official books of the 2010 Winter Olympics.
Rick offers a host of wedding photography services that include consultation, full support to the bridal couple, documentary-style wedding photography, instant Polaroids and capture of truly authentic moments during the wedding. His post-production service includes high-resolution digital files with albums and negatives. He also carries liability insurance.
As a multi-talented personality, Rick is also a designer, editor and writer. With such a background, Rick’s creativity comes to the fore in his avatar as a wedding photographer.
