She is a phenomenal wedding photographer as she can use the natural light abounding at a wedding venue very cleverly to capture authentic moments as they happen.
Valerie is an alumnus of Algonquin College, where she studied photography. Over the years, she has learned to understand that the first job of a wedding photographer is to put the bridal couple and their families at ease. She knows that if they are relaxed, they pose naturally, and there is little guiding that she needs to do. This, she feels, is the best way to capture natural and authentic images in their natural settings. She is also a great editor and takes pains to iron out any deficiencies to ensure photographs have come out well.
Valerie is meticulous when it comes to wedding photography services. For the wedding package, she starts by sending a wedding experience guide that is over 75 pages. The package includes one-hour engagement session, two photographers, eight hours of continuous wedding day coverage, 600-800 edited high-resolution JPEGs, online viewing and downloading gallery, 100 km of travel each for engagement session and wedding day, complimentary mobile gallery app and $200 print shop credit. She also offers a legacy album, tailor-made packages and undertakes destination weddings.
Apart from weddings, elopements and engagements, Valerie also offers her photography services for anniversary sessions.
Valerie is a bilingual English and French wedding photographer, which makes it easier for her to converse with guests. Her forte is capturing images with natural light as far as possible. She is very comfortable with people and enjoys being with them, and talks to them to rid them of their inhibitions so that she can photograph them when they are relaxed and natural.
