About Stephanie Beach Photography
Stephanie Beach Photography is a wedding photography service located in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. It is run by a married couple, Stephanie Koning and David Koning. Stephanie is the primary wedding photographer, and Dave is the second shooter and assistant. Their motivation to be wedding photographers comes from an urge to help newlyweds enjoy a great wedding day and capture their enjoyment on camera so that there is a physical record of the joyful moments in the styles of photojournalism, portraiture, and traditional. The couple offers their services in Ottowa and its sorrounds, Gatineau, Toronto, Perth, and Brockville.
They specialize in wedding and newborn photography and have won several awards and had nominations over the course of their careers in photography. Some of these are “Best Unique Photo” Platinum Award at the 2020 Wedding Awards, “Best Live Moment” Platinum Award at the 2018 Ottawa Wedding Awards, “Wedding Day Details” finalist in the online 2020 and 2017 Shoot & Share contest, “Best Wedding Photographer” nominee in the 2014-2018 Ottawa Wedding Awards, and many more.
Stephanie and Dave are engineers who graduated from Carleton’s Engineering Programs. While Stephanie pursued a career in wedding photography, Dave continues to be an engineer in addition to his support for the photography service as a second photographer and an assistant. They both are ardent fans of art as well as practitioners.
Stephanie and Dave offer a variety of wedding photography services. Their most popular package includes 8 hours of coverage with two photographers, high-resolution images, an engagement session with an online gallery of images as the final product, a USB of selected wedding images and a complimentary online wedding registry. They also offer engagement-only sessions, elopements, additional time, one event per day, save the date, photo booths, heirloom albums, prints, canvases, matted prints, and thank you cards. Additionally, they are also ready to create a customized package just for you.
