About Makeup By Merry

Makeup by Merry is located in Markham, Ontario, Canada. It is one of the most experienced bridal and wedding day makeup and hairstyle artists in Markham and the whole of Ontario. It is run by a dedicated professional, Merry Carlos-Baguio, a multifaceted woman of substance with expertise in bridal makeup, hairstyling, teaching and training.

Experience

Merry is the founder of Makeup by Merry. It took birth as Merry wanted to utilize her wide experience of working with top brands in the beauty industry. Her experience comprises a stint as lead makeup and hair artist with BlushPretty (top ten in Ontario), 'Demo Artist' for Laura Mercier and NARS Cosmetics at Holt Renfrew and counter manager NARS at HBC Fairview Mall. She earned her spurs in the beauty industry as a student by working in The Body Shop UK, where she received unforgettable training and great exposure. Along the way, she also acquired a liking for hairstyling and soon, she excelled in that art. She prides herself as the creator of her secret weapon, which she uses on her customers – the concealer that gives flawless face. Due to her teaching experience, she dispenses free advice such as understanding the importance of skin and its care. Putting on less foundation is better and blending colours is more beneficial than wrong shade.
