About Hart House Restaurant

In a stunning Heritage mansion overlooking the Deer Lake in Burnaby, Hart House restaurant is a modern West Coast Restaurant. The location has been memorable weddings & receptions since opening as a restaurant and wedding venue for 30 years. Near to the Burnaby Village Museum is Hart House Restaurant. The place is also about half an hour from Vancouver International Airport. Moreover, you can host various functions from private events to cooperate meetings and many more in this marquee setting venue.

Facilities and Capacity

Hart House Restaurant provides four different options with different capacities and types to host your most important day.

● The Tent - It can accommodate up to 200 guests in banquet style with a dance floor. There are sidewalls, heaters, chandeliers with draperies to complete your soft colour theme wedding—the best time to host your wedding in the tent from mid-May to the first weekends of October. Moreover, when you hire a tent, a lakeside cottage is also available to use you.

● The Restaurant - It is the main dining room that can host up to 80 guests in banquet and 100 guests in cocktail receptions. You will also access one of the patios in the summer months. It comes with four fireplaces, a sound system and a bar area.

● Rosedale Room - It is another dining hall located on the second floor. You can host up to 64 guests with round tables or 80 guests with rectangular tables. It overlooks Deer Lake that offers stunning views. It also features its private bar.

● Lakeside Cottage - These are perfect for couples who are looking for an intimate space. They can host between 10-32 guests and features a fireplace and private washroom facilities. You also have access to the lawn area for your receptions, ceremonies or just for games. Moreover, a basic sound system available inside of the cottages to make your wedding more fun.
