About The Nest at UBC
The Nest at UBC was built after 7 years of efforts to create a stunning and sustainable space that meets UBC and the community's needs. This is one of the most unique venues in Vancouver and is the ideal place to plan your dream wedding at. For those who are environmentally conscious and wish to have a grand celebration sustainably, the LEED Platinum Certified building of the Nest at UBC offers the perfect place.
● The Atrium offers a flexible space that can be customized to best suit your event. It can be used together with the 21,000 sq. ft. exterior to create the right size for a grand wedding with up to 1000 guests.
● The Great Hall is a vast and elegant ballroom. It has minimalist decor and provides a sophisticated tone for special celebrations and weddings. You can host events with up to 600 guests at the Great Hall. It also includes the Great Hall Foyer that can be used as an additional area. The Great Hall can also be booked in sections for smaller events.
● The Patio and Gallery provide a mix of indoor and outdoor space for sit-down events and meals. From pre-dinner cocktails to al-fresco dining, this space is suited for it all, with up to 200 guests.
● The Private Rooftop Garden is an amazing outdoor space that can be used for dining, cocktails, and receptions. It can accommodate around 100 to 150 guests. The rooftop cover on the terrace also offers shade from the sun if needed.
● The Pit Pub at the lower level offers a flexible area for casual and energetic events. Use this for cocktail parties and casual gatherings.
● You can choose packages with both ceremony and reception or customize one with either of the two or both as per your requirement.
● A special bridal room is provided along with a mirror, snacks, and beverages for the bridal party’s refreshment.
● Along with your event booking at The Nest at UBC, you get in-house chairs and tables and directional signage.
● Set up and take down services are provided by the on-site staff as part of your rental booking.
● There is on-site parking at the Nest, and valet services can also be arranged as required.
