About Heritage Acres
Many years ago, a group of dedicated volunteers set out to preserve some very ancient agricultural and ranch machinery that was in danger of being flooded by the construction of the Oldman Dam.
As part of the initiative to recover and save some of the structures and equipment that would be submerged in water, volunteers formed the Oldman River Antique Equipment and Threshing Club with the assistance of the Alberta government. Over time, volunteers meticulously restored the area.
