About Hatley Castle
The castle was finished in 1908. Between 1941 and 1943, when Grant Block was finished, it served as a residence and wreck lobby for cadets & staff officials at Royal Roads Military College.
It is now a Classified Federal Heritage Building and has been utilized by Royal Road University since 1995. The majestic building is just 20 minutes away from downtown and can host spectacular castle weddings. The grandeur and the glorious sight that will welcome you here will render your special day unforgettable.
Hastley Castle 1st Floor: With several areas such as Drawing Room, Dining Room, and Lounge, the 1st floor can accommodate 100 guests seated and 200 guests in a cocktail style manner.
The Drawing Room: With an adjacent terrace, the room offers both indoor and outdoor experiences with a capacity of 250 guests.
Italian Garden: An ideal place for receptions and garden weddings with a capacity of 80 guests.
Croquet Garden: A spectacular garden with breath-taking scenes. The garden can accommodate up to 300 guests.
Centre for Dialogue: A conference room with high tech facilities and a spectacular view of the Olympic Mountains. This room can accommodate up to 100 guests and has an adjoining room for catering needs.
Quarterdeck Ballroom: This reception style ballroom has a room for 250 guests and suitable for weddings and receptions.
