About SS Sicamous Paddle Wheeler
The SS Sicamous is the largest surviving sternwheeler in British Columbia. The ship is located in Heritage Park, and it open as an event venue/museum. They are also home to the Kettle Valley Model Railway, a must-see spectacle if you visit the Okanagan.
Situated on a panoramic beach in Penticton, BC (Canada), the SS Sicamous offers stunning panoramic views of the valley located right on the waterfront of Okanagan Lake. Due to its unique location, it is considered one of the most popular venues in the Okanagan. If you are looking for a gorgeous waterfront venue, SS Sicamous is the perfect venue. A wedding experience on this boat will surely be one of the most unforgettable experiences you and your guests will ever have.
The dining saloon is the centrepiece of any event hosted on the ship. The room is spacious and features hardwood floors and colourful glass windows. For events like a formal dinner, this ship can host an occasion for up to 85 people or host a standing cocktail-style reception for up to 100 people.

On the second level of SS Sicamous, you can host your wedding reception in their dining room. An elevator is provided to access this level of the ship. Their décor team will provide excellent sound equipment as well as arrange chairs and tables for your event. The dining room also features a spacious dancing area where your guests can dance their hearts out. Opposite the dancing area, there will be a head table where the couple can enjoy their dinner. To size up space, the crew can fold a few tables and increase the wedding space.
You can pick your liking from the list of caterers and vendors that they will provide you. You can also bring in your licensed caterer. A small kitchen is available onboard that the caterers can use. In the gentleman’s saloon, they also host an antique bar that serves your guests cocktails, wines and beers.
You can book the entire ship for a whole day and have exclusive access to the venue. The SS Sicamous Paddle Wheeler is a unique host for a wedding ceremony or a lavish reception. Fabulous staff, unique location, great food, this place has everything to make your wedding perfect.
