About Birken Lakeside Resort
Birken Lakeside Resort is located in Pemberton, British Columbia. It is 31 km (28 minutes’ drive) from Pemberton Airport, 20 minutes’ drive from Birkenhead Provincial Park, and a short drive from Whistler B.C. It specializes in providing customized weddings for all budgets. It also features campsites, a lake view deck, a clubhouse, the Birken Lakeside Grille, and the Birken Lakeside General Store. It is suitable for the wedding ceremony, reception, bridal shower, engagement party, and rehearsal dinner.
Birken Lakeside Resort offers six ceremony sites, including the Dock, the Lawn, the Forest/Mountainside, the Deck, and a Hall.
The Hall at Birken Lakeside Resort is spacious and overlooks the lake. It features a large door that you can have opened or closed depending on the weather, a big television, a wood-burning stove, a bar area, etc. They can mount a tent on the deck for an indoor/outdoor setting of your event. The capacity is 200 guests.

Birken Lakeside Resort is a rustic building that features black leather couches, stereo, foosball table, other tables and chairs enough to seat a large group. It also has altar/arches, aisle markers, centrepieces, furniture, dance floor, lighting, decorations, drapery, tents, tent accessories, and a photo booth.
Birken Lakeside Grille is open for private events all year round. They offer breakfast (crème Brulee French toast served with whipped cream and French berries). Entrées (marinated and grilled beef skewers on grilled naan served with organic greens and balsamic vinaigrette and pulled pork tacos with cabbage slaw on organic greens. They also offer desserts (lavender shortcake served with whipped cream and fresh berries, and locally grown herbal Nasmathe tea with citrus slushy) and drinks.
Birken Lakeside Resort accommodation facilities include six cabins, the Whistler Property, and Lions Bay.
• Cabins: Birken Lakeside Resort has six cozy cabins. Some of the cabins are equipped with a kitchen, refrigerator, and woodstove. It has a central facility that includes washrooms.
• Whistler Property: It is located at Bayshores. It is fully equipped and features an outdoor hot tub on the deck of the second floor. Other features are satellite television, internet, washer/dryer, and dishwashers. The ground floor unit has two bedrooms, a living room, and a private deck. The second-floor unit has two bedrooms, a pellet wood stove, and a private deck with a hot tub. The loft unit has two bedrooms, a living room, kitchen, and dining area.
• Lions Bay: This 2,000 sq. ft. accommodation is located between Whistler and Vancouver. It is 60 minutes from Whistler and 30 minutes from downtown Vancouver. It offers ocean views and a well-furnished luxurious space. The upper floor has three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a living room, kitchen, dining room, two fireplaces, an ocean view deck, and a hot tub. The Lower suite has two bedrooms, one bathroom, kitchen, dining room, living room, fireplace, and a private yard.
