About Millstone Estate Winery

The Milestone Estate Winery is located at 2300 East Wellington Road, Nanaimo. The farm is in the desirable Jingle pot area, which is a few minutes from downtown Nanaimo. It sits on the 12-acre rolling hills from which 6.5 acres hold the Pinot Gris, Merlot, Ortega, Pinot Noir, and Marechal Foch. It offers both a vineyard/winery and mansion/estate venue type. Its small island winery production centre is determined to launch the Barrel Club very soon. It is exceptional to the coastline terroir. The farm holds events throughout the year. Space is offered for various functions such as private parties, wedding ceremonies, garden parties, pop-ups and dinners.

Facilities and Capacity

The Milestone Estate Winery offers both outdoor and indoor event spaces. The event space dearly holds an approximate number of not more than 200 guests. The event space features a large event room with small conference rooms. The facilities provided (event or function spaces) include the:

Decorations

The Milestone Estate Winery displays a rustic wedding theme. Its setting is very natural, with lots of organic textures and shapes. This is because the building is made of wood and iron sheet materials. The iron sheets are painted maroon (red) on the rooftops and green on the sides (walls). The stairs are wooden and provide a good backdrop for photos. The venue also has various outdoorsy elements, beautifully planted trees and a swamp surrounding the venue. The front space is a small market with small tents where the farm products are sold.

In-House Catering

The Milestone Farms and Winery offer basket reservations that may cater for 2-4 guests. The basket is packed with charcuterie, local cheese and the wines of your choice. The farm gladly offers farmed and crafted wines and ciders for the guests.
