About Dark Horse Estate Winery
It would have been impossible for Dark Horse Estate Winery Inc. to exist or be created anywhere else but Huron County. By fusing his love of farming with a strong entrepreneurial spirit and the dark, rich, loamy soil of Huron County, John Rasenberg created an agri-tourism destination winery that would enthrall and thrill tourists from all over the world.
As part of Huron County's stunning landscape and surrounded by one-of-a-kind buildings, the winery was established in 2014 to offer visitors a chance to escape the everyday.
Huron County's gorgeous countryside will make for the perfect backdrop for your picture-perfect wedding. Include the newly built premium facility, complete with fully functional banquet amenities, and you will have the ingredients for a wedding to remember.
Located just opposite the famous Huron Country Playhouse, the property is close to Lake Huron's shoreline. An estate mansion measuring 31, 000 square feet is the centrepiece of the estate.
As part of the manor house, there is a full-service banquet facility, a ballroom (maximum capacity of 300 guests), a modern production facility, a barrel cellar( suitable for 25 guests), a tasting room, a VIP lounge for up to 20 guests, and patios overlooking the vineyards.

Dark Horse Estate Winery requires its in-house caterers to handle all catering needs.
The wine selection and prices will be confirmed closer to the event. Wine selections are subject to change. Dark Horse Estate Winery offers a wide selection of local and artisan beers, ciders, coolers, and premium alcoholic beverages, such as scotch and whiskey.
