Each summer, Thanksgiving Ranch welcomes more than 1,600 cattle to graze on 3000 acres of beautiful ranch land in the foothills of the Canadian Rockies.

The Lodge is a big house made of enormous pine logs. There is a rustic main floor with cozy, secluded resting spaces, soaring open beam ceilings, a bar area, and antiques. A grand piano is also present in the space. There is a fine dining room at the Lodge that serves Rocky Mountain fare.

Up to 14 people can be accommodated comfortably in the Lodge's four guest suites. Thanksgiving Ranch's expansive common areas offer plenty of seating options, two wood-burning fireplaces, a spacious dining room with a large center table, an exquisite collection of antiques and artwork, and large windows.

If the weather is pleasant, large deck areas with several seating options and a large lawn area are ideal for outdoor activities.

Decorations must first be authorized by the Events Manager. The facility must remove all decorations immediately on that day.

The group is responsible for providing, setting up, and taking down its own decorations. Glue, wire, tacks, tape, and other fasteners are not allowed. If another booking occurs before or after your event, parties should plan the setup in advance

Keep in mind that balloons, confetti, and rice are not allowed everywhere. Without express permission, sparklers, open flames, or candles of any type are not allowed.

Other than these guidelines, all decorations and outside decorators are welcome.

It is fast becoming a reputation for serving up exceptionally delicious meals prepared with love at Thanksgiving Ranch. Using fresh ingredients, prepare recipes that highlight Alberta's distinctive culinary environment by incorporating Albertan cattle, veggies, animals, herbs, and harvests.

Its visitors are provided with a fixed menu, which changes according to the season and the freshest ingredients available. In general, the culinary staff will prepare one meal option per day and serve it to all lodge visitors, although menus can be reviewed to clarify specifics or unique requests.
