About Highwood Golf and Country Club
Highway Golf is a non-profit corporation established in 1958 in High River, Alberta. In 2010, they introduced the clubhouse here to conduct events like weddings and other celebrations. It provides a private and scenic location for events like wedding ceremonies and receptions. They have an all-star culinary team to make your wedding memorable.
The venue hosts country and modern style weddings. They can make arrangements for all the wedding events like a ceremony, reception, bridal shower, engagement party and rehearsal dinner.
Renovated in 2013, Highway Golf and Country Club has a scenic and very private wedding area. The afternoon sunshine and fresh flower at the venue makes the perfect setting for an outside ceremony. A wooden arch marks the place where you will exchange the rings. The decorator can arrange for floral aisle markers to guide the way to the aisle.
● For the reception, the Wellman Banquet Room has a perfect setup with a capacity of 180 wedding guests. For dining, the venue can arrange a head table for you and your close family. Other guests would have the arrangement to recline and dine. The banquet room has large floor-to-ceiling windows allowing natural light to flow-in. You can conduct the champagne toast and late-night drinks on the patio.
