About Ancaster Fairgrounds
Ancaster Fairgrounds is located at Hamilton. It is 13 km (14 minutes’ drive) from John C. Munro Hamilton International Airport. Ancaster Fairgrounds offers spacious event rooms with large outdoor space suitable for a wedding ceremony, reception, bridal shower, engagement party, and rehearsal dinner.
Wedding facilities at Ancaster Fairgrounds include the Marritt Hall and Concession Layout.
• Marritt Hall: This is the main building. It is a 60 x 240 sq. ft. room space suitable for any event. It has a main hall, two full kitchens, a dining room, three meeting rooms above, and a boardroom on the ground floor. This room is divided into the following:
Hepworth Room: It is a 60 x 60 sq. ft. space that can accommodate 150 people for dining with a dance floor.
• Marritt Room: It is a 60 x 120 sq. ft. space that can accommodate up to 450 people for dining with a dance floor.
Emick Room: 60 x 60 sq. ft. space.
• Meeting Rooms: The rooms upstairs can be used for bridal shower and wedding training sessions. It has a sink, a bar fridge, and a microwave. They can remove the wall demarcating rooms A and B to make a larger space to accommodate up to 82 people.
You can rent the Marritt and Emick Rooms together for your event. For larger weddings, they can join two or all-3 rooms to make a larger room.
• Concession Layout: This is an 80 x 135 sq. ft. large open space perfect for weddings that do not require a full kitchen. It offers its parking area, entrance foyer, concession booth area, and showers in the washrooms. The booth features counters, sink, fridge, freezer, microwave, in-built sound system, ample electrical outlets, and four ceiling outlets.
You can also use their large 100-acre land for outdoor events using a tent.

Ancaster Fairgrounds offers chairs, tables, bar, and cooler together with the hall rental. They also allow outside rentals since they do not provide decoration services. You will have to set up and tear down after the event since they do not offer those services.
Ancaster Fairgrounds does not offer in-house catering services. Hence, you are at liberty to bring your catering services providers.
