About University of Guelph Special Events
The University of Guelph isn’t just famous for its educational offerings but also for its hospitality services through their event hosting division – Special Events. The University is located only 42 minutes of a car ride away from Toronto International Airport. Host your special ceremony at their lavish event spaces and collaborate with their wedding planning team to decorate the venue as per your choice. The place offers indoor as well as outdoor ceremony spaces to host your events.
Indoors, the venue has two halls that can host your wedding reception or a ceremony. The Creelman Hall is an expansive space to host your event that comes equipped with a dancefloor. It can host an event for up to 350 people. You can also arrange your ceremony at Johnston Green’s Portico. The Portico is historical and is rooted at the university campus since the 1860s.
Outdoors offer event space in Arboretum, located within the varsity campus and boasts of breathtaking scenic backgrounds. It is spanned across 408 acres and can host an event for a maximum of 120 people.
