About Cranbrook History Centre
Cranbrook History Centre is located in Cranbrook, British Columbia. It is 15 km (15 minutes’ drive) from Cranbrook/Canadian Rockies International Airport. Cranbrook History Centre is a museum that retains and provides information, histories, and stories of Cranbrook and the East Kootenay region. It also specializes in creating a luxurious setting for wedding events. The sophisticated and stunning space is suitable for a wedding ceremony, reception, bridal shower, engagement party, and rehearsal dinner.
Facilities at Cranbrook History Centre include one ballroom and two train cars.
Royal Alexandra Hall: Built-in 1906, the Grand Café from the Royal Alexandra Hotel was built by Canadian Pacific Railway in Winnipeg. It can accommodate
• Two hundred eighty seated guests for a ceremony.
• One hundred eighty-four guests for a seated dinner with 23 round tables of 8 guests each.
• Can host 128 to 152 guests with a dance floor.
Museum Entrance Hall: It is for the wedding ceremony and can accommodate 20-70 guests, 20 sitting and 50 standing guests.

The catering kitchen adjacent to the Royal Alexandra Hall is for plating services only. You can hire external caterers but not to cook in the kitchen, only to plate it. At Cranbrook, they can recommend caterers with experience in the hall.
