The Crossing is a peaceful, quiet and natural environment located in Cochrane, Alberta. It is known to conduct beautiful and intimate weddings, providing an experience, unlike any other venue. It sets along the banks of the Ghost River and is nestled within 145 rolling acres. They conduct country, garden, rustic and vintage style wedding events such as a ceremony, reception and rehearsal dinner.
The Crossing offers two wedding packages to celebrate your special day:
● Outdoor Weddings: The outdoor wedding is conducted by the River House, a post and beam-style building. It provides the view of the Ghost River, making it ideal for ceremony, reception and dance. The natural sound and sight of the surroundings while a wedding takes place is a unique experience. You can have an intimate wedding with up to 50 people organized here.
● Barn Weddings: The barn offers a western feeling that captures Alberta’s rural farm heritage. The rustic and relaxed country chic wedding atmosphere offered by the pine loft makes it a perfect evening with your loved ones. The Crossing at Ghost River offers the perfect view from here. Weddings with up to 50 guests can take place here.
● In addition to the above two packages, The Crossing also has an elopement package if you want to save money and celebrate your wedding day with just your family.
When you book a wedding with The Crossing, they offer services and items like furniture such as chairs and tables, set up and clean up, linens, china, glassware, flatware and parking as part of the package. You can also rent items like altar/arches, chair covers, decor and furniture from them at an additional cost.
