About Whistle Bear Golf Club

One of Cambridge's founding fathers, William Dickson once owned the land on which the Golf Club sits. That was in 1816, and after reselling, an original log home that is part of the current venue was built between 1929 and 1932. A large portion of the land remained untouched until today, consisting of forests and wetlands. It is built on 178 acres as a links-style golf course, with each one of the 18 holes named after previous owners of the land. After substantial renovations, Whistle Bear Golf Club reopened its doors in 2014 under Pearle Hospitality and Emilio Cabral ownership. Today it offers a country-style venue with breathtaking landscape, incredible cuisine, and an elegant clubhouse.

Facilities and Capacity

Both ceremonies and receptions facilities are available and include:
• Garden Chapel is open-aired while protecting bridal couple and guests against elements with a retractable roof. Manicured gardens encase the wedding aisle.
• The Rose Room & Terrace offers beautiful views of the natural landscape with all surrounding windows. An elegant 29-feet ceiling with beautiful chandeliers and exposed hand-carved beams with an outdoor terrace where pre-reception and after-dinner cocktails are served. A long bridal table and round tables for guests with elegantly clothed table linen and Chiavari chairs rounds of the exclusivity. Space caters to 170 seated guests.
• The Grandview Room & Terrace offers romance with its 20-feet vaulted mirrored ceiling, beautiful crystal chandeliers, and intricate wood-carved details. As a stylish focal point, a striking fireplace stands out while a private outdoor garden is ideal for pre-dinner drinks. It has a seating capacity of 190.
• The Forest Room & Terrace is a grand space for up to 400 guests with exposed hand-carved wooden beams and 20-feet ceilings with beautiful chandeliers. A private terrace with casements windows gives outstanding views of the golf course.
