About Raspberry Estate
The Raspberry Chalet is a sprawling 7500 square foot Chalet style mansion with expansive city views from Hamilton to the GTA. It is situated on the escarpment in North Burlington, occupying a one acre professionally graded and manicured lot, which was historically a raspberry farm owned by the Bell family, pioneers of fruit farming in Canada. The adjacent properties consist of a 1 acre lot and a 3 acre lot offering privacy with wooded surroundings.
The open wood truss architecture and picturesque wooded background offer cottage ambiance only minutes from the City. The Raspberry Chalet is a retreat that feels both spacious and intimately cozy. Using natural materials with meticulous attention to detail, this estate is a testament to architectural artistry and thoughtful design.
Inside you'll discover an open-concept main floor spanning 3,150 square feet, designed for fluid living and entertaining. The heart of the home features an 830 square foot state-of-the-art movie theater with 180" screen, providing an immersive cinematic experience. This open space with a 16 foot cathedral ceiling can also double as conference room and entertainment area.
The Raspberry Chalet melds rustic charm with modern elegance. Exposed douglas fir beams and live edge black walnut accents pay homage to the beauty of its natural surroundings, while the pine board & batten and natural fieldstone exterior blend seamlessly with the landscape. Inside, modern luxuries await, with exquisite finishes in the bathrooms and kitchen that cater to the most discerning tastes.
The outdoor living space is nothing short of spectacular, with a 920 square foot covered wood deck that serves as the ultimate venue for hosting parties. The deck features a commercially equiped bar with TV and ample seating throughout.
The Raspberry Chalet operates as a short term rental Bed & Breakfast which can comfortably accommodate over 130 seated indoor dinner guests, making it ideal for corporate events and dinner parties ranging from conferences to weddings. The property can also accommodate a 20'x40' event tent as well as parking for up to 40 full sized vehicles.
The grounds feature a 9ft x16ft cascading waterfall which acts as a perfect backdrop for photos and ceremonies. This space is an entertainer's dream. In addition, the putting green, fire pit, sauna, conversation pool and hot tub provide relaxation and rejuvenation, making every moment at The Raspberry Chalet a celebration of comfort and luxury, it's not just a house, it's a haven that offers a perfect marriage of rustic charm and modern sophistication.

They consider Raspberry Chalet is a one stop shop. You can have your rehearsal dinner, stay overnight and enjoy a beautiful view of the night city. After the morning coffee and a breakfast get your hair and make up done right beside your bedroom, take the pictures right on the property, there are plenty of spots for that and then have your ceremony either inside or outside by the cascading waterfall.
They work with various catering partners. But you can bring your own. There is an elevator for the catering services to bring the food up and lots of space to put the chafing dishes up to keep the food warm if needed.
Should you have out of town guests. They offer 3 bedroom accommodations with on suite bathrooms for added privacy and convenience.
