About Juan de Marias
Based in Victoria but originally from Barcelona's flamenco capital, Juan provides his romantic and passionate style that's sure to pull at the heartstrings of each wedding guest. His style covers acoustic, classical, world and Latin. His style is undeniably romantic and includes the best of classical and Spanish solo guitar flourishes.
Juan was born in Barcelona and trained in classical and flamenco guitar with Barcelona, Madrid, and Jerez's best teachers. He has worked with various artists within the flamenco, jazz, Latin-American folklore scene and has performed at venues across Spain, the UK, Chile, Canada and the US. His music has been performed in the Palau de la Musica in Barcelona.
Juan can provide a variety of wedding packages to suit your budgets, venue and requirements. He's also able to collaborate with other performers and dancers. Juan de Marias Flamenco can provide your unique soundtrack to the ceremony, cocktail hour, reception and rehearsal and provide music during breaks. Each couple gets the added reassurance of a sample performance to see and hear the talented Juan. Along with his guitar, he will provide microphones and a sound/PA system.
Juan has provided his services to the wedding sector for many years and offers private performances, concerts and recitals for other memorable occasions.
