About Bela Strings
Bela Strings is a collection of talented musicians who use exceptional skills to create memorable and beautiful wedding celebrations.
Founded in 2008 by violinist Anna Wedlock they have clocked up over five hundred events ranging from intimate weddings to large-scale events. Anna studied with well-known violinist Philippe Djokic. This flexible group has played at key events, including the Port of Halifax 2016, Dalhousie President's Circle Reception and the 3rd Annual Emergent Learning Conference at the WTCC. Regarding wedding organizers, they have worked with Elegant Productions, Simply Weddings and Claudia Habib, to name just a few.
The Bela Strings ensemble is a versatile group consisting of violin, cello and viola players that can be configured as solo, duet, trio or quartet. They can provide a mix of classical, romantic and elegant music and cover various styles, from Mozart to Michael Jackson. They can play during the ceremony, reception, rehearsal dinner and cocktail hours. Outside of their performance times, they can arrange for music to be played. They provide their instruments and adapt popular tunes to tie in with their client's requirements. Each booking comes with a consultation to understand the intended couple's wishes, timings and plans for their special day. Within their wedding package, they include all travel expenses along with sample performances.
The Bela Strings will provide necessary equipment such as their sound PA system. They also play in other events like corporate meetings or conferences.
