Edmonton Convention Centre is located in the heart of Edmonton, Alberta. The banquet hall opened in 1983, and it offers various wedding event styles from the city, modern, glamorous, classic, to rustic. It was formerly the Shaw Conference Centre. It offers a beautiful backdrop with the location of Edmonton’s river valley. Couples can have an indoor and uncovered outdoor setting for their glamorous day.
Edmonton Convention Centre offers 150,000 square feet of flexible event space that consist of 4 event rooms ideal for hosting weddings and other social gatherings. These rooms include the Riverview room, hall D, the Salon Ballroom, and several other meeting rooms.
• Riverview Room is 4,000 square feet that can accommodate up to 140 guests in a banquet style or 200 guests in a reception format. It has a panoramic view of the river valley that is a lovely backdrop for your event.
• Hall D is located on the Pedway level, 23,600 square feet of event space with glass walls that allow plenty of natural light into the room and a stunning view of the Saskatchewan River Valley. It can accommodate up to 1,400 guests in a banquet format.
• The Salon Ballroom features 20 flexible rooms and a shared foyer with a floor area that range from 395 to 3,720 square feet and different accommodation capacities.
