About The Farmhouse Restaurant
Surrounded by Barrie’s cityscape and the tranquil waters of Kempenfelt Bay, The Farmhouse, is an ideal setting for you to host your wedding ceremony or reception. Their event spaces come with a rustic and elegant theme that add a touch of timeless features to your special day. This stunning mansion on the waterfront is a local-favourite, and you will know why when you step into their premises. This stunning venue is only 50 minutes of car-drive away from Toronto Airport.
The Farmhouse is an idyllic venue that provides multiple facilities and event spaces to accommodate any of your events. In total, they offer five event spaces that you can use for your special ceremony.
• Semi-Private Room 1: This room can host a cocktail-style reception for up to 80 guests or a seated dinner event for up to 60 guests. This room has no access to the patio.
• Semi-Private Room 2: This room is comparatively smaller than the above room but can accommodate a seated dinner for up to 24 guests or a cocktail-style reception for up to 30 people. Patio access is available on request and additional charge.
• Loft Room (Entire Floor): This floor can host up to 120 guests for a standing event or a seated dinner event for up to 80 guests. Patio access is available for an additional charge.
• Stable Room: No patio access is available for this room, but it can host up to 55 guests for a standing event or a seated event for up to 42 guests.
You can also book the entire restaurant if you wish to host a lavish wedding or a grand reception. It can host a standing reception for up to 300 guests (with patio) and 200 (without patio), or a seated dinner for 210 guests (with patios) and 150 (without patios).

The walls are softly lit with beautiful lighting, which blends well with the idyllic wooden floor. Tables are arranged with exquisite cutlery, shiny glassware and stylish napkins to create a fine dining experience for your guests.
Executive Chef Randy Feltis has meticulously designed their set menus, which offer various dishes to tickle the taste buds of your guests. Their set menus include braised chicken, seared salmon, cream pie, their signature dish Swiss Chard Salad and many more dishes. You can avail of an open bar with professional bartender(s) that can hook you up with beers, wines, champagnes, and even signature drinks for bar services.
