The Rutherford House Provincial Historic Site has a history of entertaining friends and guests that dates back to 1911. It is located 11 minutes from Edmonton CBD and situated along the North Saskatchewan River, south of its downtown area. It has a stylish, rustic, and vintage setting that would suit a range of unforgettable and diverse festivities from corporate events, business meetings, and intimate events and cocktail parties.
The Rutherford House Provincial Historic Site boasts of five rooms that can accommodate 56 guests. The rooms are well distributed around the house and include; The Parlour, The Library, The Premier’s table room, the dining space, and the Sun Porch room. The venue is ideal for intimate weddings where the dearest and nearest are welcome.
● The Porch has large windows that let the natural light into the room be ideal for hosting the couple’s joining.
● The dining room is perfect for a sit-down meal, whereas the other spaces are best utilized for happy hour/cocktail events as guests can move from one room to the other freely.
The rooms are luxuriously designed with antique furniture that exudes gracefulness. The décor and the architectural design of the venue create attractive opportunities for photo sessions also.
