About Coal Harbour Community Centre
The Coal Harbour Community Centre is an affordable wedding venue that is ideal for your special celebrations. This venue is located just a short drive from the city’s International Airport and offers outdoor and indoor facilities for your wedding ceremony and reception. The location, coupled with affordable hire rates, provides a stress-free venue for your wedding celebration.
•The Multi-Purpose Room at the Coal Harbour Community Centre is used for all wedding ceremonies and receptions. This room has a seating capacity of 80 guests and can accommodate 100 guests in a cocktail-style celebration. The room features hardwood floors along with an expansive patio outdoors.
•The Activity Room features a smaller space for intimate gatherings and celebrations. This room can be utilized for ceremonies and small gatherings with up to 30 guests seated or 40 standing.
•The Arts & Crafts Room is also for smaller gatherings with up to 20 guests seated or 25 cocktail-style.
•The function room has an audio system that can be used for your guest's entertainment. Aux cables and other audio equipment are also available on request.
•A mic, podium, projector screen, and projector are also available for rental.
•You are permitted to bring any outside vendors for your preference.
•You can also arrange a rehearsal dinner at the venue a few days before the wedding.
•An optional janitorial service is also available on request to provide setup and takedown services in the Multi-Purpose Room.
•Any additional staffing that you may require for supervision or service staff can also be arranged.
•The Coal Harbour Community Centre does not have in-house catering, and you are allowed to bring any catering service of your choice.
•The function space also has a small kitchen that can rehearse and prepare food.
•Alcohol service is also permitted at the Coal Harbour Community Centre. You will require a Special Occasion License for that. The servers must also have a Serving It Right or Special Event Server Certificate.
