About Brighton Convention and Event Centre
The Brighton Convention and Event Centre in Scarborough is 7km northwest of Scarborough City Centre. It is a magnificent event venue highly suitable as an impressive wedding venue. It has several unique and ostentatious spaces for celebrating grand weddings. The centre offers professional service to make your wedding celebrations an event to remember. The Brighton Convention and Event Centre boasts five stately event spaces that are perfect for different types of wedding events:
• The 6,480-square-foot Hall A is the premier venue for weddings for large gatherings. Its 23-foot high ceiling and large area augur well for a grand wedding venue.
• The 4,000-square-foot Hall B is the 2nd largest event space, with a ceiling height of 23 feet. This hall also has a dance floor.
• The 3,406-square foot Lobby is yet another exciting event venue because of its 36-foot ceiling, which can dramatically alter the venue’s décor.
• The Courtyard cum Patio is 1,840 square feet in area and can be used innovatively to convert it into an outdoor wedding venue when there is no rain.
• The Ivy room is a much smaller venue for more intimate gatherings.
• Hall A and Hall B are contiguous and can be combined to form an enormous hall, including a dance floor for a wedding or convention gatherings of up to 1,000 guests. Thus, the five spaces can accommodate anywhere between 40 and 1,000 guests for any type of event.
