About Fort William Country Club
Located in Thunder Bay, Ontario, Fort William Country Club is the right choice for your special events on the golfing grounds. Founded by the late Dr. M.B Dean, this classic venue was a 100-acre farm in 1923. It has now been renovated into a nine-hole golf course inaugurated in the spring of 1926 for the first time and to the public in 1964. It not only boasts inviting indoor and uncovered outdoor spaces for your ceremonies, bridal showers, rehearsal dinner, reception, and engagement party but also provides acute attention to detail.
Fort William Country Club boasts three indoor and uncovered outdoor spaces with a capacity of 1 to 160 guests. It offers a 3,000 sq. ft of event space for ceremonies and receptions. However, The Norwester Ballroom is the largest space offering reception seating of up to 200 guests. Several separate breakout rooms, which can accommodate anywhere from 15 to 100 guests, can also be used.
